US-Canadian First Special Service Force (The Devil's Brigade or Black Devils) Training & Combat Footage

Sorry for the lack of posting any blog posts on my site.

I've been busy with work and other projects.

But here's a special post I really do want to share.

I've recently uploaded the video of the US-Canadian First Special Service Force (The Devil's Brigade or Black Devils) Training & Combat Footage during World War 2 back in January 28, 2015.

Recently, the Unit and its surviving members received the Congressional Gold Medal.  The Unit has become recognized for its service and sacrifice during the war.

Such recognition is the reason why I want to post this on my blog.

Here's the article covering the surviving members being awarded the Congressional Gold Medal:

Here's my uploaded video:

Long live the Unit.

New Universal Title: ASP Productions

With ASP steadily growing and new chapters being born (gaming, weaponry, filming, etc.), I've decided to put the organize all videos and films into one hub.  I call this hub ASP Productions.

ASP Productions not only focuses on cars, motorcycles, and vehicles, but it also encompasses video games, weaponry, film, and anything sexy.

So with FPS American Pinoy, that's going to fall under ASP Productions.  My screen name gurilla47, Tophermen, VICIOUS all = to ASP Productions.

This makes it easy for me to organize and narrow down all videos as the ASP Productions.  And it makes sense to have one universal name instead of different names.

So for now on, it's going to be the ASP Productions.

I now leave you off with this.  Enjoy!

Vacation

I've been on vacation for about 2 weeks and I have captured a lot of good footage.  In capturing such awesome footage, I got to view and edit them all.  This will take some time for me to do so.  If I don't upload any new videos within a few days, that means I'm still in the editing process.

The videos that I've uploaded recently were scheduled to be posted up.  Thank goodness for YouTube Video Upload Schedule.

As for what I've captured, well you'll see within the next few weeks.

Here's an example:

In addition, I'll be filming more videos within the next few weeks with my camera.  For my gaming videos, I will do my best to capture, edit, and upload them in a professional gaming walkthrough manner.

Rugged Maniac NJ 2013 and Contour Roam 2

NEWS FLASH:

The Rugged Maniac NJ 2013 Trailer will be out tomorrow, 7/21/13.  The full video is still in production.  Thing is, I've been pretty busy with work that I'm not able to devote much time into editing the footage.

In addition, I've come across an issue with the last parts of the Rugged Maniac footage I've captured with my Contour Roam 2.  Sadly, the ending part of the Rugged Maniac run cannot be retrieved and used.  This is a first for me of this issue.  I'll be investigating if it's the Contour Roam 2 or the micro SD card.

Anyways, I'm busy doing videos so I'll leave you off with my previous mud run of MuckFest NJ 2013.

Fast Times for a Changing World

I haven't posted any blog posts up within the past few months.  I've been very busy with work and my projects have been piling up.

With summer here already, I've organized myself (still in the process) of editing and uploading videos.

OUT goes the daily videos and IN goes the weekly videos.

I will upload videos and post blogs, but not on a daily basis.

However, I will post up pictures on my Google+ page which is located here:

The URL looks ugly don't it?  I'll figure it out to make it sexy.

And considering Google+ is a better social media outlet, I'll be posting up more stuff there than Blogger.

In addition, YouTube has now made it mandatory for YouTube pages to be on the One Channel Design.  This has impacted A LOT of YouTubers both good and bad.  Good for those who know how to do graphic design.  Bad for those who don't know how to do graphic design.  I'm in between.

With this change, my channel has of coursed changed in its looks.

In order for me to get in the flow of these fast changing times, I've went through the YouTube Academy and found it very helpful; however, I found the course to be too quick for my liking.  I wasn't able to finish the course on time and receive a certificate of completion due to work at my 9-5 job.  I hope they can extend the deadline in completing the course in the future.

The One Channel utilizes organization and a banner that can be seen on all platforms (PC, smartphone, tablets, smart TV).

Tips on how to make a banner and a template on where to get one is located here:

I found this video to be VERY helpful.  Thanks Karen!

Anyways, I leave you off with this muddy experience.

The full video will be aired on Monday, 6/24/13 at 1PM EST.

Stay tuned!

NEW UPLOAD TIMES

I'm currently in the middle of doing a video game playthrough of FAR CRY 3 on PC in which I like to call a "FUN RUN."  The FAR CRY 3 Fun Runs are awesome, but a lot.  What I say is mostly non scripted and usually improvised on the spot given on the situation.

Considering I have a lot of FAR CRY 3 videos that I need to pump out, I need to upload them faster.  This means at least 2 FAR CRY 3 videos will be uploaded daily.

There will be random days where a FAR CRY 3 video won't be posted.  Those days and times will focus on the Auto-Showcase Project (ASP).  Warmer weather is coming up and I've got my sights on a few cool DD (Daily Driver) cars.  Plus, I'll be attending car meets this month of April to May.  And then of course in the summer.

So with this awesome news of more FAR CRY 3 videos, I give you one!

Don't forget to check out more of my FAR CRY 3 Fun Run videos in my profile.

Plus, get the game!  It's REALLY AWESOME!

It's available on the PC, PS3, and XBOX360.

As for Hitman: Absolution, I'm taking my sweet ass time on that game, but it'll be done.  I guarantee it.

QUICK UPDATE!

Hey Everyone,

I've been really busy doing A LOT of projects and side projects, plus working and training.

I recently went to a gun range and fired a Glock 17 9mm handgun and Ruger SR22 .22 caliber handgun.  And I got to say that was FUN.

A video of my first time experience shooting handguns will be up soon.

Along the lines of video uploads, I've got tons of video in storage that I will eventually edit and upload.

Just being busy with work, training, and other things in life hampers my ability to upload awesome content in a timely manner.  So please don't be discouraged if I don't respond to a comment as quickly as I can or upload Hitman: Absolution videos.

It takes a lot of time and effort to do such things.  I wish I had a few helpers to assist me.

Keep on a look out for more videos on my YouTube page, Google+ page, and this blog.

Here's an old ASP Re-Upload video:

Long Time, No Update?

Yes.  It has been some time since I have last updated the ASP blog.

I'm proud to say that I have a full-time steady and secure job, but with this new job comes new changes and responsibilities.

I do not have the luxury of working on my ASP videos full-time.  I can only do them part-time.

Additionally, the winter season also plays a role in what cars I can video.

However, with this new onset that I have predicted, I will be redoing and re-uploading old videos I've done before.

The old car videos I have in my archives will be re-edited and re-uploaded in a better fashion.

Plus, on the side of doing the ASP, I'm creating video game walkthroughs / playthroughs.  Here's an example:

This is a new year for the ASP and myself.

I have more plans and ideas for the ASP and in general film-making.  So stay tuned for what's in store for 2013.

Thanks!

3 FILIPINOS DOWN - PACQUIAO VS MARQUEZ 4TH FIGHT IMPRESSIONS

PACQUIAO VS. MARQUEZ 4TH FIGHT...

A stunning fight by the greatest with a HUGE TURN AROUND...

Click to watch my impressions after the fight.

On other news, I've been busy with other video projects and have not updated this blog in a LONG time.

New videos and posts will be up.

The ASP is still continuing even through the winter.

Plus, I'm diligently working on my video game walkthroughs, but I got to finish the games first in order to do so.  (I'm playing and working on Hitman: Absolution and Far Cry 3.)

Stay tuned for the ASP in 2013.

Temporarily Down, But Not Out

The ASP is temporarily down, but not out.

Hurricane Sandy swept through NJ like a bitch on wheels.  The storm has destroyed lives and made living in the modern world a bit harder, but better days are coming.

It's time to rebuild and continue on with our lives; however, we cannot forget this event.

Plus, we cannot forget last years event on Halloween of 2011.

Disasters like this cannot be forgotten and held lightly.

It is best now to prepare for the next disaster or catastrophic event.  This sounds like the apocalypse is coming.  Technically it is, but it isn't at the same time.

Disasters and catastrophic events come and go, and some times they can be predicted (formations and paths of weather, behavior of animals, local news of what's currently happening).

However, many of us are not prepared for the event and are caught off guard when it happens.

-From (http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-11-02/blackout-backlash-builds-as-sandy-slow-recovery-drags-out.html)

When the lights went out on Monday, October 29th, I found myself dumbstruck and mentally unprepared.  I had flashlights, batteries, candles, matches, defensive weapons, phone, first aid kit, and etc. at the ready, but I was not prepared for it in mind and I didn't have a plan on what to do next.

I sat at my desk in the dark.  What I should have done was make sure that my other resources such as food, water, firewood, coal, family members, friends, and neighbors were in check.

My food supply was okay.  My fiance and I placed them in a cooler with ice and transported them to my sister-in-law's home who had available power and room in the refrigerator.

Water was okay because the water line was unaffected.

Firewood and coal were low, but manageable.  I would need to buy more coal for the next event and firewood is plentiful in my area.

My family members and friends were okay and were able to manage themselves.  They live a few miles from us, but we were able to communicate easily via cell service.

However, some of my neighbors were not so good and that's one thing I (and others who read this) need to work on: BUILDING A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH NEIGHBORS.

We all have neighbors living next or across from us and some times, we don't get into their business and they don't get into ours.  Most of us now live in a technology world of Facebook, Twitter, and Google.  That's where we find most of our friends.  We forget the basic aspects of being social which is face to face verbal contact.

And that's sad.

Where's the sense of community with your neighbors?

If you have good relations with your neighbors, then that's good and you're one step ahead of me.

But if you don't, then you need to build one.

Why?

Because neighbors (like people and strangers) are an important resource in rebuilding a destroyed community.

A band of neighbors can move a tree that's blocking a road instead of waiting for county road workers.  A band of neighbors can help those who are trapped in a home instead of waiting for EMS.  A band of neighbors can rally up and defend their homes from thieving opportunists instead of police who might be stretched too thin.

Getting a group of neighbors to help you and each other out is better than going through a terrible event alone.  You and your neighbors can survive a lot longer compared to going at it alone.

Plus, neighbors utilized in a specific way can have quite an impact and be a game changer in a situation.  REMEMBER, NEIGHBORS HAVE CERTAIN SKILLS THAT CAN BE USEFUL.  If your neighbor knows first aid and you're hurt, he or she can save your life!

So now, what do you do knowing this valuable commodity and resource?

Basically, introduce yourself to your neighbor.  Say hi or wave to them whenever you see them.  Offer them help if they need it.  Give them a resource (fruit, vegetables, firewood).  Invite them over for a BBQ.

"A good neighbor - a found treasure."  - Chinese Proverb

Sound off!  What do you think?  Do you have any relations with your neighbors?  Or are you a hermit?

DUCATI & Better Content

The first time I saw a Ducati motorcycle was about 2 years ago in a parking garage when I was first experimenting with filming.  This was on my old YouTube profile.  And as I look back at the view count of that video, I'm surprised!  13,000 views!

Fast forward today, here's a new ASP version:

The Ducati Multistrada 1200 S impressed me A LOT.  It impressed me so much that this was the first motorcycle I filmed that day.

Then this came in and I needed to film it.  The Ducati 1098 with a beauty...

Funny thing, it parked right next to the Multistrada 1200 S and it had a beautiful model posing on it.  So I took the opportunity and filmed both the 1098 and the model.  Gorgeous isn't it?

Be on the look out for more videos like this!

New Upload Schedule

Creating all this awesome content means I need to have a consistent Upload Schedule.  I can't upload all my videos at ONCE and expect them to get HIGH views.

No, no.  An Upload Schedule is important and required.

So what's the Upload Schedule going to be the ASP?  Well, I'm glad you asked.

Here's the Upload Schedule lineup as of October 5th, 2012.

UPLOAD SCHEDULE:
(Eastern Standard Time: NY Area)
Monday - 4:30PM
Wednesday - 4:30PM
Friday - 4:30PM
Saturday - 1:00PM (non-consecutive)
Sunday - 2:00PM (non-consecutive)

So expect a video on these days and times.

As of Saturday and Sunday, I will have a video posted up on either day and time.  For example, I will post a video this Saturday at 1PM, but will not post a video for Sunday until the next weekend.  When the next weekend rolls in, I'll post a video on Sunday at 2PM, but will not on Saturday.  It will repeat that way until I decide to make a different Upload Schedule.

Now I leave you with this...

Scion FR-S & More Videos/Content Coming Soon

More relevant content is on it's way.  I can guarantee you that.

I say the Scion FR-S is an evolution of its older brother, the Toyota Supra.  FR-S has that Supra look in some aspects.

I have its twin brother, the Subaru BRZ, on its way to the ASP.  You'll see it next week.in all its glory.  Meaning I got more in-depth footage of the BRZ compared to the FR-S.

See!

Now, I leave you off with this stunning beauty.  This is a BIG step forward for the ASP.

STILL HERE AND UNDER CONSTRUCTION...

I'M STILL HERE!  Just busy with TONS OF CONSTRUCTION and a LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP 570-4 SPYDER PERFORMANTE.

Oh yeah, an Italian beauty, LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO LP 570-4 SPYDER PERFORMANTE on the ASP.  I've seen other Lambos at meets, but this one caught me eye.  Just look at it!

Anyways, yes.  The ASP is still under construction status and it will be for some time.  I will be making a few changes here and there, dramatically and subtly.

I'll be uploading more and more content along the way.  And experimenting here and there on content, editing, and film capturing.

Now, I leave you off with this.  2 Weekend Goodies!  What do ya say?

Please note, the MG 34 did not fire at the kid with bad taste in clothes...  Unfortunately...  :(

NEW UPLOAD, BUT STILL UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Yes, as the title says, the ASP is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION.  But I have a new upload for you all Gear Heads or Petrol Heads as they say in the UK.  You got to love the engine sound of this Camaro 2SS/RS.  I can't explain in words, but it just sounds really good.

I have new contacts and ideas for the ASP so stay tuned for more!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The ASP is going to be "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" for a little while due to the influx of new ideas, experiments, and a back up of awesome content.  I'll gradually upload more and more content in the upcoming weeks.  New ideas and experiments will temporarily slow down the "Editing Process" of the ASP, but this shows you that better quality of content will appear.  The ASP and I cannot move backwards on providing content.  If we want to survive, then we need to move FORWARD and outsmart our competition.  The ASP has confidence to be a brilliant and unique "Auto-Showcase" and all rounder in the near future.

Now, I leave you off with this.

Don't get in its way because it will cut you down.
